I grew up in Western Washington and am currently still residing in my hometown with my amazing husband, Joshua, who is currently serving in the United States Navy. This is slightly funny in itself because growing up with a dad in the Navy, I swore to myself I would never date let alone marry a sailor, but here we are and  I couldn’t be happier. Right before I met Josh, I graduated from Washington State University (GO COUGS!) with my bachelor’s in Psychology. I was sad to graduate and wasn’t ready for the “real world” to begin, thinking I was leaving the best four years of my life behind me but oh how I was wrong. Meeting Josh turned my entire life around and because of him I now am blessed with the greatest gift of all.. my little drop of sunshine, Raelee Grace. From the moment I found out I was pregnant I knew I wanted to blog about it but to be honest, I was too scared. I have my husband to thank for teaching me how to build the courage to do it and now here we are! This blog is going to be majority about the truth about mom life; the good, the hard ( I don’t want to say bad because none of motherhood in my opinion is bad, but isn’t always easy), and the exhaustingly ugly but you’ll find me talking about far more than just motherhood. If you’re interested, yay! I’m so excited about this! But if a mommy blog isn’t for you that’s totally cool too, I won’t be offended. I want this to be a positive environment to share my experiences, advice, do’s, don’ts and more. If you have any suggestions at any time of topics you’d like me to cover, feel free to shoot me a message and if ya don’t, just sit back and enjoy this ride 🙂
